Commercial waste collection

Commercial waste collection, managed for you.

Every stream, the right licensed operator, a schedule that fits how you actually trade — and the duty-of-care paperwork handled. One point of contact instead of a folder full of suppliers.

The short version

What commercial waste collection actually means.

Commercial waste is anything your business produces rather than your household — and by law it cannot go out with domestic collections. It has to be removed by a registered waste carrier, with paperwork proving it was handled properly.

The part businesses are often surprised by is that the responsibility does not transfer when someone takes the bin away. Your duty of care runs from the moment the waste is produced until it is finally disposed of. If it is fly-tipped three counties away by an unlicensed operator you hired in good faith, it is still your name on the transfer note.

That is most of what this service is. We arrange collections with licensed operators, match the right one to each waste stream, keep the paperwork current, and stay accountable when something goes wrong — so it is one less thing sitting on someone's desk.

Who this suits

  • Businesses paying more than they think they should, without a clear way to check
  • Sites juggling several waste suppliers and invoices
  • Operators with more than one location to keep consistent
  • Anyone whose collection schedule no longer matches their trade
  • Businesses unsure whether their duty-of-care paperwork stands up

Waste streams

Every waste type, one managed service.

Whatever your business produces, we coordinate the right licensed operators to collect it — separated properly for recycling and recovery wherever possible.

General waste

Non-recyclable commercial waste, collected on a schedule that fits your premises.

Dry mixed recycling

Card, paper, plastics and cans collected together and sent for recycling.

Food waste

Separate food waste collections, diverted from landfill to anaerobic digestion.

Glass

Bottle and container glass, kept separate and recycled.

Cardboard & paper

High-volume card and paper, baled and recycled — ideal for retail and offices.

Clinical & medical

Coordinated through specialist licensed operators — compliant collection and disposal for healthcare, dental and care settings.

Hazardous waste

Coordinated through specialist licensed operators — proper handling, paperwork and disposal for hazardous and controlled streams.

Confidential waste

Coordinated through specialist licensed operators — secure destruction of confidential documents with certificates provided.

Electrical (WEEE)

Coordinated through specialist licensed operators — compliant recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment.

What's included

Everything that makes collections stop being your problem.

  • The right operator for each stream

General, recycling, food, glass, clinical and hazardous waste rarely suit the same operator. We match each stream to a licensed operator that handles it properly, rather than forcing everything through one contract that fits none of it.

  • A schedule built around your trading pattern

Collection frequency, bin sizes and timing set around how your business actually runs — before opening, after closing, or around production and changeover days where that is what the site needs.

  • Duty-of-care paperwork kept in order

Waste transfer notes, consignment notes and licensed-carrier checks handled and kept current, so the compliance side is not a folder someone has to remember to maintain.

  • One point of contact, one invoice

Missed collection, bin damage, a change of frequency, a query on a charge — one number to call. Multiple sites are consolidated into a single invoice and a single view of cost.

  • Pricing that stays where it was agreed

Waste invoices drift through surcharges and annual creep. We benchmark what you pay, set clear pricing, and keep it under review so it does not quietly climb back up.

  • Cover across multiple sites and counties

Sites in different towns, or across Devon and Cornwall and beyond, coordinated centrally — consistent service everywhere without you managing a supplier per location.

How it works

Four steps, and only one of them needs anything from you.

  1. 01

    Free waste audit

We look at what your business throws away, how it is handled now, what you are paying and where the waste is actually coming from. No obligation, and you keep the findings either way.

  2. 02

    A quote you can read

Clear pricing per premises, with the streams, frequencies and bin sizes set out. If we cannot beat what you are on, we will tell you.

  3. 03

    Changeover, managed

We coordinate the switch around your existing collections so there is no gap in service, and check your current notice period before anything is cancelled.

  4. 04

    Then it just runs

Collections happen, paperwork stays current, and anything that goes wrong comes to us rather than to you. We keep reviewing volumes as the business changes.

More on how we work

Cost

What does it cost?

There is no single price, and anyone quoting one before seeing your site is guessing. Cost comes down to your volumes, which streams you produce, collection frequency, bin sizes and how easy the site is to access.

What we can say is where the savings usually are, and it is rarely a cheaper rate per lift. It is normally right-sizing — businesses paying for collections more often than they need, or for bins larger than they fill, or for several suppliers doing overlapping work. That only shows up when someone looks properly, which is what the free audit is for.

Where we collect

Commercial waste collection across the South West.

We coordinate licensed operators rather than running our own fleet, so coverage is not limited to a depot's radius. These are the areas we work across most closely — each has its own page with the local detail.
